  Q: Returning shoes purchased from a 'Two for One' offer?

Assuming you wish to return just one pair of shoes out of the two. I have not come across any official advice from the Office of Fair Trading etc which indicates what consumers should expect from retailers in this regard. However, I have read the return's policy for a number of respected footwear retailers in the United Kingdom. The return's policy of these retailers states that they will either exchange the pair of shoes for another, or will return half the purchase price from the 'Two for One' offer. However, there are some retailers who will require both shoes to be returned for any refund to be issued.
