That will depend upon the retailer; they are under no legal requirement
to issue you a refund on the difference paid, and it's highly unlikely
most retailers will. Although, it never hurts to ask. You may get
lucky, depending on the delivery method you chose. If you picked
home delivery and the item has been dispatched, then you will have
been charged the full amount for your shoes. However, if you chose
the 'collect from shop' option, then you may not have been charged
for your shoes. When you collect your shoes from the store, that
may be the time you pay for the shoes, and that may mean you pay
the discounted rate.
