So you received a pair of shoes as a Christmas gift and wish to
return them because they are the wrong size, or they look ugly etc.
I am afraid there is no legal requirement for retailers to offer
you an exchange or a refund in such a circumstance. The good news
is that many retailers have a 'goodwill' return's policy for shoes
received as a Christmas gift. Amazon will provide a full refund
for any items returned up until January the 31st. Barratts will
provide a refund for any shoes returned within 28 days of the purchase
order date, or up until January the 16th, which ever date is the
later.
